23Sept2010 - Suzhou

Alright people. after one year i am still blogging about my Shanghai-Suzhou Trip. ahahaha. but i still wish to finish this off. LOL. because i dont like leaving things undone. LOL.

Well, basically day 5 is for leisure. we went a lot of places for scenery. haaa.. so early morning had breakfast at hotel which is kind of better off than the one in shanghai. Brought the luggage out to the restaurant and grab a few bite and then off to our bus. haaa.

Off we went to Liu garden (留园), it was cold and was drizzling at that morning. lucky it kind of stop when we were touring halfway.

Then we went to Tiger Hill, our tour guide told us all the history and stuffs, and on the way there are actually people joining us to listen to our tour guide. ha. and another lady got so thick skin and ask our tour guide what is the basin doing in the middle of the road. Our tour guide got so fed up with them and then say it's for washing feet. hahaha. and then all students went laughing away. LOL.

The tower is actually slanted. might not be very clear on the photo. haa. but it's actually slanted somehow and initially, tian and me were like doing jumpshot under it. LOL. but failed. hahaha. afterwhich, i dunno what happen, everyone join in, and tadahhhhh~

suddenly we came up with the group photo of all females. hahaha. and they actually make some joke about me of the another version this photo above on facebook. different angle but i think i was being blocked. lol.

月落乌啼霜满天,
江枫渔火对愁眠,
姑苏城外寒山寺,
夜半钟声到客船。

hahaha~ with the above poem, guess where we were going?
yea~ it's HanShan temple (寒山寺)~ dint manage to get in dept of this place as we were kind of rushing. so we just went to the middle area took some photo and we went off. haa. but there's some interesting event that took place here. haaa.

Looking at the picture above.. ha. do you know what the guy in black was looking at? ha. actually this on the other side. there is some temple rooftop, and on top there are a lot of coins. apparently i think people were like throwing coins on top for luck sake? ha. not very sure about the culture there, but then, our funny lecturer MK, actually decided to throw a coin on it. hahaha. and on the way up here he tried to throw a coin from thailand (yes, not sg, not rmb, but thai baht =_=) hahaha. and while throwing he shouted 弹指神功 LOUDLY and yet it did not succeed and drop on to passerby. HAHAHA. super funny can. after that he went chasing after the thai baht and then we went further up to throw the coins on the other rooftop which he finally succeeded.

actually i cant remember which is the exact time we went to the silk factory, BUT we did went to silk factory and saw lots of interesting stuffs. how the silk were grown, being processed, how they make the bedsheet, etc. but didnt manage to take photos of it as we were not allowed to. ha. while waiting for others to shop finish, MK will kind of self entertaining himself by calling me "xiaomeimei" , so i decided to answered him and called him back as "da shu" (uncle). Then we went off to the bus. haa.

Then we went to ZhouZhuang, Ancient waterside town? ha. the scenery is nice. haaa. we decided to sit on the boat and then pay the auntie another 30 to 40 RMB? for her to sing song. haaa. so cool. yet so paiseh, lol. the auntie sing so loud until everyone is looking at us. hahaha. but it's a very fun experience. hahaha.

was too lazy to upload photos, so yea, anyway the ppl on top are the ones that took the same boat together with us. ha. and of cox, plus the camera woman, liyana. after that we went shopping and i bought some stuffs then off to dinner. we were late for dinner. haa. after that i sit at the same table as MK for dinner. ha. the whole table started talking, and then somehow he call me xiaomeimei again, then i jus answered him back "yes? da shu" haaa. afterwhich the whole table went slience. hahaha. the year 1s are looking at him and then at me. then MK was like "what? why? ok ma~ " then a guy from year 1, Don, look at him and say "are you serious? you dont mind~~~~~? " then he replied "ok ma~" then Don started teasing him. hahaha. funny.

After that we went back to Shanghai.

23Sept2010 - Shanghai
Owell, here comes to the end of the whole trip with the school, we went to send the year 1s off to the airport, say byebye to our tour guide that had accompanied us for the whole 5 days while we continued our trip in Shanghai.

our tour guide for the whole trip in China. ha... he is quite funny, he say his surname is yan and then he ask most ppl to call him yan dao (yan-surname, dao - tourguide) but then dunno why ppl laugh whenever he say that, which obviously he know that yan dao means handsome... anyway, tian and me took a photo with him before we bid goodbye to him. haa.

After that we rush to take the last bus to take the train together with MK and NZ, they were actually there for some job stuffs while our clique continue touring round... we really run at the airport and then we finally managed to board the last bus.

the bus trip was unforgettable. haaa. we were talking behind the bus, as ana and i were sitting in front, we were trying listen to what tian and wenz are talking behind. we dunno where to alight actually, and then i think we sort of talking quite loudly and the bus driver were like shouting "can you guys shut up?" so, we went slience, then hahaha. the person giving out the tickets are telling the person in front to be faster, she want to end work faster.. hahaha. MK was like telling NZ "if u dun wan work, dun work la~ " and i went laughing. hahaha. after we reached when the door open, i got trapped at the door, cause there are so many ppl crowding round the door trying to promote their stuffs. i got stunned. hahaa. lucky i am small size enough to make myself disappear and go and look for the luaggage. ha. after that we went to take cab to the hotel instead as it was quite late ler.

then we finally get our room and then we wash up and then slept. ha. dead tired.
